Using arduino tachometer with hall effect sensor to monitor rpm of a cooling fan

Hello everyone
Please guide in using arduino tachometer to monitor the rpm of a cooling fan inside of a VFD Panel.
Cooling Fan model: D2D160-CE02-11 ABB EBMPAPST .

And relay this rpm data to DCS system.

Provide a link to that fan's datasheet, I couldn't find anything useful on the Net.

That's are super description of the counterpart. It's about as useful as "send the information to a computer". We need a link to the datasheet(/manual of that device that defines exactly what interfaces it has and what physical and logical parameters we can expect.

I would recommend not doing that but use an airflow sensor inplace of that, then you do not modify the blower assembly and void the warranty. I would not expect an Arduino to work properly in a VFD panel because of EMI etc. Take a look at an airflow sensor. You could measure the temperature and air flow, this will let you know if something is failing and / or plugging up. Check this link for starters.
