Using both an SD shield and an LED screen

Hello,

Is it possible to wire up both an SD shield and an LED screen onto an Uno? They both need the MISO/MOSI/SCK/SS lines, so can they be piggy-backed or is it not possible?

  1. MISO/MOSI/SCK can be shared, but chip select needs to be separate for each device.
  2. Software must use the same SPI setup or backup the SPI setup for each device.

So the answer is: It depends...
