Using Ethernet Shield Webserver To Control TVout Problem

Hello! So what i am trying to do, is have an interface on a webserver, so when you press a button on the webpage, it displays “Hello World!” on my TV. I have the TVout library (https://code.google.com/p/arduino-tvout/downloads/detail?name=TVout.zip&can=2&q=) using pins 7 and 8, and the ethernet shield using 10 11 12 13 (as always).

to test the webserver, and i hooked up the LED, and everything worked fine.

to test the video out, and it worked fine.

But i combined the two so when you would usually press the on button for the led to turn on, it displayes the text.

(all i did i take out the HIGH of the led pin and replaced it with the code that displays characters on the screen, and added the ints and library imports.)

Unless you have a Mega, you ran out of memory about 4000 bytes ago. Use the F() macro

around ALL your (excessive number of) string literals.

I know its working, because when i execute the commmand, the LED turns on, but no screen output, and what do you mean by the F() macro? Thanks.

Incorporate the test for available memory in your code. Then, use the F() macro as I showed in the example. Run the sketch again. What do you see for available memory in each case?

Have you gotten any code to work using the TVout.h library?

I have, i got it to work with the ethernet shield on also, if that helps any saying that.
