my task is to use two different incremental encoders as sensors to measure angular movement 0 - 360 degreeds and 0 - 90 degreeds. The objective is to count encoder pulses, 10 -12 bit per revolution, to store the value, to understand the direction of movement and to present the value as a 12bit (or 14bit) parallell information.
If anyone knows about similar projects info would be appreciated. What kind of platform would handle this. I have an Uno starterkit available as is today. New to programming but not general electronics.
Google "arduino quadature encoders" or "arduino rotary encoders" for lots of information.
