Hello everyone!, I have seen almost every post of the topics including the L293D, but i can't get my circuit to function like I want it.
For this proyect, my circuit includes potentiometers to vary the the velocity and direction of my two motors.
The motors I am using are: DC Motor 130, 1.5-7V Consume current 70mA.
I think that I'm doing the right conections, I'm having the arduino conected with a charger, so my problem here is:
The motors actually work, BUT it takes a little push to start even when I put the potentiometer to it's maximum, and only a motor vibrates a lot, and if i put the other at it's maximum this starts to slow down... I don't know if maybe i need to buy another pair of motors or need i different battery for the L293D.

You will need to show them to us so before it's possible to comment. Also the Arduino sketch.
I'm guessing (note, guessing) in the absence of circuit and sketch that the motor power comes from the Arduino. Also be aware that the 293 will drop about 2V (from memory) minimum, so whatever voltage you start with, is quite a bit less by the time it gets through the 293. But, as I say, it's guesswork so far....
I have had the exact same problem with this chip. Power was an issue, I could push motors to get them going and even then they were sluggish. However, I used 4 AA batteries for the Arduino, and a fully charged 9v for the chip. With 5v motors, the 9v lasted maybe 25 minutes before it wasn't strong enough to run the motors.
The other problem, Being new in electronics and Arduino, was grounding the chip, Arduino, and the battery, together for a common ground.
Solution: What has worked very well for me thus far is using this 11v LiPo RC battery I had around.
It actually doesn't hold a great charge, but it lasts a lot longer than a 9v, and it powers both the Arduino and the chip flawlessly for about half hour of stop and go usage.
btw, What these 5v motors are running is the Tamaya Tank, with breadboard, Arduino, 2 pieces of wood on top of the wood that comes with the tank. (yeah its a lot and its pretty heavy, but I like the way it looks and it is still pretty fast with all the extra weight.
