Using LCD screen with Arduino

Hi Guys,

So essentially i'm trying to make a controller system using an lcd and Arduino Due. I just want a general home screen that can show some values (e.g temp, time) and a menu setting to change value of outputs.

I have this kit:

however with every single piece of code I upload it shows a white screen (Below is a link to a youtube video showing this)

I am using the code that came with the device and yet I still have not been able to succeed.

Please help me.

Make sure your wiring is correct, pin numbers match, voltage levels are correct, and available power is sufficient.
