I'm trying to make a two axis solar tracker with 2 sg90 and heard that i shouldn't power servos straight from Arduino so i Thought of using a 5v 2A adapter and a mb102 Will this work?
I see no need for the mb102. Power the servos directly from the 5V adaptor.
Which Arduino are you using?
Im using an arduino r3 the adapter output is barrel jack and i don't know how to connect them directly so im thinking of using the mb102
You can use one of these.
So you can go from the barrel jack to separate wires.
You can't. The barrel socket of an Uno R3 needs at least 6.5~7V and your PSU is 5V.
But you can power the Uno with your PSU through the Uno's 5V and GND pins.
In addition to @jim-p 's suggestion you can also buy in-line barrel sockets and panel-mounted sockets if those are more suitable for your project.
But take care, there are many different sizes of barrel plugs & sockets. You need to know the inner and outer diameter of the plug on your PSU and buy a matching socket. They all look the same in pictures!
For example, there are barrel plugs with 5.5mm outer diameter but they come in 2.1mm and 2.5mm inner diameter. If you get the 2.1mm socket and your plug is 2.5mm, it will not plug in. If you get the 2.5mm socket and your plug is 2.1mm, it will plug in but will never make a reliable connection. As you can probably tell, I learned that the hard way!
