Using Multiple MKR Boards

Hello everyone,

for a university project we are planing a setup of:

1x MKR Zero
1x MKR 485 Shield
1x MKR NB 1500

My question would be: If I put the MKR Shield on the MKR Zero how could I connect the MKR NB 1500 when I want to access the data on the MKR Zero. Do I just put a jumper wire on the desired pin of the MKR Shield (because it's on top of the MKR Zero)? Or do I have to use the Additional I2C Port?

what is the role of the MKR Zero? the MKR NB 1500 is like a MKR Zero with NB module added.

thank you for your reply. The use of the MKR NB 1500 would be for data storage (data provided by a sensor through Modbus)

I ask what should the MKR Zero do? because I am sure the MKR NB can do alone what you planed for the MKR Zero + MKR NB
