Using PID library to control a variable within a range.

Electrical Engineering Student I am reading an analog signal and would like to control an LED (which represents a relay). The LED must only turn on if the analog value goes below 344 and will turn off once a delay has occurred and then check once again and if the value is above 516 turn the LED off. I feel like I need guidance on the matter.I am unsure of how to use the tuning feature properly as well to get the gains I want. :confused:

Comparison and time delays are not PID.

BTW, your description uses the word off twice so when does does the led ever turn on?
