Yes, I had considered that. I would like to make it more self contained though. I think there will be several others who would be interested in an SD card replacement to these drives.
I am thinking of building an interface that replicates the cassette drive audio/digital section from the schematic. If I can get the computer to record and load correctly I will go onto the next step of trying to get the arduino to do it.
