I purchased a kit of sensors from HiLetGo that resemble transistors in that they have 3 leads attached. Can I use these with an Arduino Uno board?
Perhaps. Do they have any part numbers on them? Google the numbers. Look for data sheets.
They could be many things.
Maybe temperature sensors like the TMP35 and TMP36. Those are popular in kits, I think.
What does the kit instructions tell you?
Take photo and post the picture or check if there is anything written on the device.
They might be hall sensors, ir diode receiver, or even, gasp!, real transitors.
Close pics including and part numbers are needed please.
Thanks so much for your prompt response. The sensors all have part numbers and therefore have data sheets. That was a great suggestion especially for a newbie like me. Thanks again
I found the data sheets. There are no instructions with the kit. Thanks anyway,
Glad that I could help.
I do not think it wise to post your personal information.
