I have built a circuit that consumes max 200-250 mA max, and I want to operate at 24h on a field. So I am thinking of using some kind of solar + power banks, in order to make it work without to supply it from the electricity network, or without the use of simple power banks. From a search I did in ebay, I have found and I result in these two kinds of solar + power banks:
What I want to achieve is the circuit to operate also at night, when there no sun. Which of the 2 solutions is more suitable for my case? When I have more solar panels what does this mean? Also how can I calculate the time that each of the solutions, that I have posted above, needs in order to get the power bank full charged??
The first item does not say how many watts of solar power it produces. Without knowing that it is impossible to estimate whether it would be suitable for your project.
I don't know what the second product actually is - I see no sign of solar panels.
You need to calculate the total number of mA hours that your project will consume in a 24 hour period. Then I reckon you need solar panels that will produce maybe 2 times as much energy during the shortest and darkest days of Winter. Be aware that most manufacturers quote the wattage of solar panels when they are aimed directly at the sun on a bright summer day.
