Hi, I new here and I would like to ask you question to see is it possible to do or not
I am working on project where I am using the STM32 trying to connect it directly(For I just want upper part of signal , and changed voltage to 3.3) to resolver output, modulated signal. I didnt connected it yet cause I have some hardware problems with resolver that I will fix, but like I said I am interested is it possible to connect it directly.
What resolver are you using and what is the max output voltage?
Are you trying to sample using analogue or digital on the STM32 as the analogue pins can only handle 3.3V but the digital pins can handle 5V.
Maybe passing the resolver signal through 2 or 3 diodes in series will both drop the voltage to a safe level and remove the minus voltage.
I now planning to use 2-3 diodes and connect just negative output on it, then connect it to analog pin, before that I will see how it behaves on oscilloscope and just by math return it to normal by coding I mean. As for voltage I have drop it from 5 to 3.3 v just to observe it. If this works I am planning to buy a new board strong as stm32
