Hi, so I am wondering if anyone has made an obstacle moving robot using the ultrasonic sensors and has attached a color sensor under the body to stop the robot once it reaches a specific color that is placed on the ground? I am so lost I am new to this and was wondering if anyone had any links or similar projects like this that would help me. Thanks.

Stopping on a particular color would be very simple, except, as you will discover, the "color" of an object depends very strongly on the illumination.
It's not plug and play to put together things like You ask for, especially being new to this. Start with small easy parts of the project. Then You might have a chance to handle the situation when the toy one day stops working.
