Using the Arduino GND pin issues

Hi everyone,

My team and I are working on ADC using the Due. We've built a GSR circuit and now we're trying to test it by using the 5V pin to power the circuit and the analog GND pin on the arduino as reference for the breadboard. This is however not working out as we're getting waay too much noise after converting and plotting.

It works when we use an external ground in our lab though. But It's for our final year project and we're trying to be as efficient as we can.

We're not sure what the issue is. Please help!

Are you blaming the Arduino's ground pin for noise in your system?

No I'm not blaming the Arduino.. All I'm saying is that when we ground the system externally, it works just fine. However when we want connect it to the ground pin of the Arduino, the system looks like it floats.

Hi,
Can you please post a copy of your circuit, in CAD or a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?
A picture of your project would also help.

Thanks .. Tom...
