Using the USB port of the arduino

Hi,

I could not yet find the answer, but is it possible to use the USB programming port of the arduino to connect a usb key or other devices ? After all we use it to send data to the computer for the serial connection.

Thanks in advance

Philippe

Of which Arduino?

Most Arduinos are USB slaves. USB thumb drives are slaves. Connect two slaves together and all they do is sit around and drink all your beer.

You need a USB Master (Host) in the picture to make the USB slaves do anything.

Hi,

Thanks for the answer. Uno R3 for example
