Pardon me if this comes as a typical noob question.
I have a WS2812 LED strip with 60 individually addressable LEDs. It is a 3 connector strip i.e. +5v, GND, and Data(in/out).
I need to increase the space between each LED to position them properly. I'll cut all LEDs from the strip and will solder the connectors again.
My question is, Can I use a parallel Vcc and GND to power all LEDs keeping data line in serial?
Reason to ask this is that it'd simplify the circuit, as I can use a common rail for providing +5v and GND for all LEDs.

An odd question because that is how they are wired on the strip so yes you can do this.
