using Xbee library with 2pcs xbee S2 receiving garbage data.

Hi…I’m testing the xbee library by Andrew. Following the tutorial from https://code.google.com/p/xbee-api/wiki/XBeeConfiguration. I think I have it right.
General setup:
Coordinator Router
PAN ID 1AAA 1AAA
CH 17 17
NI Coordinator Router1
Baudrate 9600 9600

Coordinator to PC and Router1 to Arduino Uno
After loading the given example Series2_Tx to arduino gives me the following result(non readable characters)…please see attached image.

Can you help me point out what I’m doing wrong in the process?

Thanks in advance.

I change to using CoolTerm and load different program to arduino. Below is what I get.

Sorry if I’m still new to this. But my question will be…when using the xbee library it gives special characters symbols, are these normal?

Thanks in advance
