Usongshine 17HS4023 stepper - How to control with Arduino Nano Every

Hello

I am a beginner at coding and coding related projects, for my uni project I am creating a design that uses this stepping motor to rotate something. I was wondering if you had any suggestions on what items I need to get started with this motor along with my Arduino Nano Every. I know I need a motor driver. I have looked for tutorials online, but they all show the stepping motor being controlled with Arduino UNO, which I don't have :frowning:

Many Thanks

UNO or Nano Every, not big difference.
Do some studying of how to wire controllers and drivers.

Are you sure you have the correct part number.
I can't find a 17HS4043
Did you mean 17HS4023?

yes !! that's the one

An A4988 driver with a 12volt supply could be a start.
Set the driver to 0.7Amp (or less) before connecting the motor to the driver.
Pololu.com has good tutorials.

What are you rotating?
Does the size of the project matter
Do you know how to solder?
