I am a supervisor at a correctional facility and looking to Arduino to help control some of our flooding issues with our inmates. Our sinks and toilets all run of a vacuum push button system to active them and I like ideas or direction how to use arduino to control the water and prevent flooding. Something that would turn the water off if the button pushed more than 5 times in a minute and how long it would stay off. Any ideas or direction would help.
How about supplying the water via a cistern that took a minute or so to refill?
