I’ve been watching “mend it mark” on You tube and his vacuum desoldering tool is superb - want one .

Anyone have and experience of them , some on eBay for £89 any good ??

Over the years I have had several, generally the expensive ones. I just gave my last one away as I purchased something similar to what is shown in the photo. It works great and inexpensive enough to trash, cheaper then the tips for the other units. They can be gotten for less then two packs of cigarettes in the US.

I only use it once in a while and leave it unplugged until needed. You have to keep the tip clean for any of them to work well.
