Variable Frequency Generator

Hello everyone, I am trying to make a frequency generator on arduino nano using this site.

The problem I am facing is with the LCD. In the project he used an 128x64 LCD but its not available in my location so I used an 16x2 display with serial interface board module to make it work with Nano. The Adafruit SSD1306 library that I included works for 128x64 and 128x32 displays. I cant find a library that works for 16x2 display so I need to make some changes in the code but have no idea where to change. On uploading the code I get this error.
generator:60:2: error: #error (“Height incorrect, please fix Adafruit_SSD1306.h!”);

The code is included in the attachment.

It sounds like you need the LiquidCrystal library.

It’s really pretty simple but very different from the Adafruit OLED display in that instructable.

LiquidCrystal comes with some useful bits of example code to show you how it works. Once you’ve got it going it’s almost as easy as printing to the serial monitor.
