ver 021 auto format (ctrl-T) suddenly quit working

It was working fine, then it stopped working and I got this in the error window (red text on black background):

Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space... and so on, but I could not copy and paste from this window.

The cursor was here (^) between n and V, when I hit ctrl-t:

lonValue += rxString.charAt(i); ^

New instances and other sketches work fine. Only this particular code hangs as if there may be something embedded in the code to make ctrl-t hang.

Any ideas??

p.s. Is it possible to copy from the error window? If not, then it might be a good idea.

Thanks, Butch

fixed ! Here is what happened.
I left out the " ) " in the first line as shown below.

for (i=34; i<38; i++){
lonValue += rxString.charAt(i);

Now the code and ctrl-T works.
