Verify Your Product on my.arduino.org

I just received THE ARDUINO STARTER KIT as a gift. In the box was a little book "MY ARDUINO." At the center of this book it directed me to VERIFY YOUR PRODUCT ON MY.ARDUINO.ORG and to Insert your Product Code.

When I went to that web site I was redirected to another site. That site did not have a verify page.

I created an account. However, I was never asked to verify or register my product.

Where do I verify and register my Arduino?

I would say at this point there is no place.
arduino.org has been shutdown and redirects to arduino.cc.

this is a long and painful story concerning Arduino.

arduino.org and arduino.cc were different "Arduino"
finally in 2017 they were joined into a single "Arduino"

If you do some searching of the forum you'll find a post about this with an official reply from a member of the Arduino organization saying they're aware of the issue and that there's no way to register and that it's not necessary.

So don't worry about it. Just get to having fun with your Arduino!

I happened to come across the official comment on this subject I mentioned before:

v_chinnici:
Hello all,

I have asked internally about the myarduino platform and services.

Unfortunately the platform is not ready yet, there will be an announcement in the future about the actual launch of the service, but for now this is on hold.

We apologise for any inconvenience this have may caused.

Thank you pert!!!!!

Yeah, me too, all of the above. I figure we just chose the $46 REAL one instead of the $5 clone one because we want to support those who make all this possible. Let's give each other the "pretty good guy" award.

Thanks 54Lightfoot!
