Very small noise when measuring small current with ADS1115

Yes, but that's uV.

I checked, and it's indeed µV. The image I posted earlier showed noise even with the "rough" gain mode, so it may not be thermal noise.

The horizontal axis of the graph is the number of measurement attempts (100 measurements in the loop) and the vertical axis is the calculated voltage in mV. The blue line in the graph is the result of measurement at 2/3x gain, and the orange line is the result of measurement at 16x gain.
This noise is very small, but I would like to solve it.
If you have any good advice, I would appreciate it.

What do you get if you short out the resistor, so the analog input is at gnd?

Do you mean a circuit like the one below?
