As title suggests...I'm very sorry I have to even post this. But how do I find an older post that I made about a month ago? This was before I had received my arduino kit and got some experience under my belt. I've looked under 'unread posts' and 'updated topics' but neither of them have the post I made in them. I also looked under my personal profile and settings and couldn't find a history anywhere.
There was a lot of sudo-discussion and useful feedback that I got from some veterans around here in that post. I wanted to re-visit the post to review the feasibility for a project.

Why is this feature not in the arduino forums??
* It is a feature, but not a very well implemented one.*
Click on your name in the post above.
You will be redirected to your profile 'control panel'.
On the left side there's a clickable link that says "Show Posts".
Click it, and there you are.
I managed the find the post after doing a search for my username 'aspen1135'. However, I don't think this is neccessarily a reliable way of finding old archived information. Especially if you don't remember the post title. Is there an alternative method?
If you use Google, search for "aspen1135 KEYWORD site:arduino.cc" (replace KEYWORD with one or more search terms).
Asking Google to only look in the last month might help (Tools>AnyTime>PastMonth in Firefox)
Leo..
haha not at all. I was about to thank you but the forums also have that post reply and 5 minute restriction thing. Thanks for the help. I don't know why these things are so difficult or hidden in the arduino forums. hopefully this post will be useful to someone else as well.
There is a "lollypop" search icon on top of every page.
Used to be exposed, but they made it hidden with a new (stupid) update.
Together with more (stupid) sliding/hopping "features", which I managed to remove with ABP.
Leo..
Because the search system is poor I have got into the habit of bookmarking ALL threads that I start and any Post (whether by me of A.N. Other that I think may be useful in the future. I give the bookmarks names that will be useful to help me find the bookmark - not necessarily the Thread title.
