VGAX library: display font problem

Hello,
i try to use an Anrduino Uno with the VGAX library from smaffer to show fonts on a vga monitor.
I used the following example code from the GitHub website:

Dear mario439, there is a chance that you are using a too old Arduino IDE. I had exactly the same problem and I solved it just updating the software. I am actually using Arduino IDE 1.6.4, but the latest one should work as well.

Mmm - could be. 1.0.6, 1.6.0~1.6.9, and 1.6.10~1.6.13 each use a different compiler version. That library may be picky about compiler version (it's the kind of thing that that's plausible with).

That's sort of suspicious how regular the glitch is, though...
