video using arduino UNO and 1.8 inch tft

I found a hack online to allow a cheap TFT display to play video using an arduino UNO and a custom breakout board.

I had the board manfuctured by jlpcb and then added the resistors and capacitor and downloaded the sketch and I got 20fps video playing.

You have to convert the video into .raw format and also modify the tft by shorting out the resistors that protect the SD card.You then use voltage dividers to protect the SD reader whilst still allowing 8mhz data transfer.The sketch uses a modified FAT reader and the data is transferred directly from the SD card to the display.This is what allows the very rapid data transfer required for video playback.
