Virtual pet T shirt

Hi guys,

im new to arduino and i am doing a project in which i have to design a sensor controlled virtual pet t shirt. I was previously planning on using a neo pixel matrix and kinda sowing or stitching it onto a cloth however it i wouldn't really be a t-shirt but more of a matrix sown onto a shirt using an aruino uno :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
My problem is i want to use the lilypad however im planning to use about 6 sensors and a 8 by 8 led matrix to display the pet. Do you think the lilypad would have enough pins, can use a suitable voltage to be able to power this and i dont think i have considered the amount RAM either.

Mayby it will work.

I think you have to use an led matrix with I2c communication to do that.
