Virus detected while installing Intel Curie Core 1.0.5

I've been having trouble testing my Arduino 101 board and thought I'd check the path for the Arduino101loader.exe and saw that it did not exist. So I removed the core and reinstalled and got a message from McAfee the it automatically quarantined an infected file. It detected "Artemis!04544D36F265" (Trojan).

Can someone scan < arduino101load.exe > for viruses?

Thanks,

Norton says it is fine.

What do I do to get around the false positive? Turn off McAfee?

See if you can whitelist the file. It's not the best idea to turn off your antivirus since it leaves your system vulnerable.

A previous post says that if you download the Run rather than the .zip file of the IDE the drivers are loaded automatically and if you use the .zip file, you have to load the drivers manually.

I did that and got around the McAfee quarantine issue.
