Voice changer project

I was about to buy the components to build the wave shield voice changer using the arduino uno but had some questions.

-Is it possible to trigger the recorded files using an accelerometer or tilt switch? How many could it handle?
-Is it possible to run a voice changer and triggered audio files to external speakers while seprately using directional mics to amplify sound to earbuds using one arduino board or would I need to run two boards?
-Is there a tutorial on how to build something like the velleman super ear amplifier based on an arduino board if I need a second board or would that just be a wave shield kit and arduino uno? I am hoping that there is a smaller option if I need a second board.

I am building a costume that requires a voice changer, two audio files that are triggered by my foot lifting up and then landing on the ground, as well as a sound amplifier to headphones so I can hear people that are talking to me better. I am also planning on using a class D audio amplifier for the voice changer speakers and two buttons for sound triggers if that makes a difference.

What kind of components are you talking about (specifically) ?

Is it the Adafruit one (see attached pdf) ?

wave-shield-voice-changer.pdf (509 KB)

yea, it's this one Overview | Wave Shield Voice Changer | Adafruit Learning System

with this amp breakout Stereo 3.7W Class D Audio Amplifier - MAX98306 : ID 987 : $8.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits

if there are better options I am open to suggestions.

No, I like Adafruit products.
