Voltage Sensor

Dear All,

Good Day!

I am using voltage sensor to measure the battery voltage in my product and it is working fine.

I am curious to know why all the voltage Sensor breakout board has circle with holes on the PCB & what is it's purpose?

Experts please clarify it would be helpful for many of us.

Thank You in advance.

This is for putting a screw through to mount it.

All the vias around it suggest its a footprint designed for high current, perhaps the matching current
sensor uses the same footprint? For a voltage sensor its not needed - I presume its connected to
ground.

I think it is just bling-bling to make it look interesting. After all, it is only two resistors as a voltage divider. To sell that as a "Voltage Sensor" needs some extra bling-bling :money_mouth_face:

I vote for “ bling-bling”.
