Voltage source using zener diodes

Well, if you just add it, you get 43.41mA.
If you add it orthogonally, you get 45.20mA.
If you just screw the Ohmian resistance and just go for the capacitor, you get 45.24mA.
That is because for small angles, the cosine is approximately 1 and so the adjacent side is approximately equal to the hypotenuse.

So you would be much better off ignoring the small values than wrongly adding them. That never seems to be a good approximation.
