Voltage to Frequency converter

Hi I just found this little chap, and was wondering if I could use it with the Arduino:

Does anyone know what kind of data this thing will send out, and if the Arduino would be able to read the data coming from it?

Cheers

Yes you know, you said it in the title. You put a voltage in and you get a frequency out. So it sends out a frequency. You can measure this (if you want) using the pulse in function. Although with a built in 10 bit A/D the times when this is useful are limited.

Thank you, it was a bit of a silly question.

Is there anyway of making an arduino with better adc's, and still be able to use the Arduino code?

Or could you possibly read voltage and convert the data into frequency?

I am sorry for bothering you with inane questions, it's just that I found this:

and was wondering how the hell they made it!

Cheers in advance
