I have a scetch that implements one stepmotor and a RC servo, this is controlled by a realtime clock.
most of the time it works, but sometimes it freaks out and acting strange. after some tests I figure out that it is the exact fenomenon like if I run without the servo and plug it in (power supply)
observe that its not a complete shortcut becose it does not restarts, it is just randomly performs some lines in the scetch
could it be caused by voltagedrop or inductive kick from the coil in the servo?
It is either your power supply can't give enough current for the load or lack of supply decoupling:-

Possibly both
Thank's for the response. And thank you for your briliant site, very god information.
Actually I've seen your site before and did try some De-coupling capacitors, that didnt work and I wrote this thread. anyway, after your reply I tryed a 10ohm resistor (in serie with servo powersupply) and now it is stable again! I'm sure it would have worked with the right capacitor as well.
