Hi people!
I'm trying using a miniature mp3 board for a project, I have the mp3-flash-16p. It seems to work, but the sound on some music is saturated, especially on drums. I tried with different loudspeakers of different sizes, then I tried to limit the volume (very loud for such a small chip!) with a 50 ohm rheostat, but even at lower volume it remains saturated, which makes me think it happens on DAC stage.
I don't want to use UART library since the software for the project is quite big and I use a lot of timers and interrupts, I don't want it to interfer with other libs and code.
Is there an other way to set the volume? Some site mention a read.cfg file, but no documentation about that.
Looks like there is only one speaker output, connected between sp1 and sp2. You could try to connect buttons to IO1-7 with common ground, these boards notmally have added manual controls
It seems they just play the different files. At least K1-3 plays the three files I flashed, and others does nothing.
I tried to lower the level of the files. -9dB works.
But now I experience other issue with the exported files: it plays the first 2 seconds in loop, or only once, or just nothing... Audacity should have changed someting the cheap chip doesn't like, like bit res.?!?
