volunteer fireman needs urgent help - sending messages and setting up calls

Dear friends, I need help I live in Croatia and I'm a voluntary fireman we have a big problem with us about it and that is: when we receive reports to the station, our volunteer firemen hard obavjijeste about it. We only have the old method of notification and that the siren. The problem arises because maybe someone will hear the siren. And all it takes slow, so we call each other on the phone. before we had a device for informing sending messages on his cell phone and then call on his cell phone. I saw a lot of projects with Arduino and GSM900 on youtube for calls and messages, or anywhere that is not enclosed in a code and I never saw kodkoji can send SMS and make calls to more than one cell phone. Perhaps you understand what I need but here it is: So I need a code when on duty firefighter click the button that sent the first SMS to 30-50 cell phones and immediately thereafter automatically connects calls on all those 30-50 mobitelja. Once this is done the process is finished. SMS would look like this (Come immediately to the fire station, we have a fire)

Now if there is a possibility I would like to press the other button, this same process is repeated perhaps only for less cell phone about 20 SMS would look like this (Come immediately to the fire station, we have the technical intervention) I reduced the number of cell phones because not everyone has permission to go to the technical intervention Please help us, because we want to make our citizens feel safer and that we react quickly.

And the old-fashioned way to the city to hear the sirens, people are reminded at times of war and immediately get upset Please help us and thank you for everything and sorry for my bad english ;)

Is it not possible to set up your phone so it can send a message to multiple recipients ?

I would be very cautious about using an Arduino and “amateur” code for a life-saving application. What happens if people rely on it and then it does not work?

It is probably not wise to build a communication system that can collapse with a single point of failure (including a single mobile phone to send notifications). The advantage of a siren is that several people will hear it even if not everyone.

We already have such a system as what I've already written. But the problem is that it uses the old type of cell phone Siemens M45. and it is nowhere more nemoze buy This pelig system functioned perfectly and we are satisfied with it. A big problem is what some firefighters do not hear the siren. By happens because of the geographical position of my city because it is surrounded by mountains

You already has an answer, yet you went ahead and posted the same question (now deleted) in a different part of the forum?

DO you not have paging services where you are ?

An old method used in the UK for lifeboats was to launch a salvo salutes or maroons or shells.

Basically loud, high altitude fireworks.

please can you remember where ... and if you can find could you copied it

Do not post this question again.

If you do, you will be given a forum timeout.

You seem to be mixing up languages and I don't understand.

Yes, google translate is apparently having some trouble with some of the words.

I would imagine this is a common problem faced by thousands of fire stations throughout the world. I've seen sirens on a few but I've rarely heard them. So there must be common solutions out there.

I would ask each of your firefighters to set the notification sound for text messages to a really loud one. Then you don't need to call them after sending the message.

The Yanks always have to go one better.

The Brits made do with these
