W5100 Ethernet Shield not working

Hello,

I am new on Arduino. I have an arduino Uno R3 and the W5100 ethernet shield. I am using Aruino IDE 1.0.5-r2.
I am trying to use the "webserver" example but after upload the code to Arduino and then connected RJ45 cable to it the ethernet shield leds did not respond, just power led keeps on. Bellow is the "webserver" code I am using. I am also keeping the Arduino connect to USB to power it up, since I do not have an external power source. Any help or suggestion on that?

/*
  Web Server

 A simple web server that shows the value of the analog input pins.
 using an Arduino Wiznet Ethernet shield.

 Circuit:
 * Ethernet shield attached to pins 10, 11, 12, 13
 * Analog inputs attached to pins A0 through A5 (optional)

Hi,

I'd like to add some extra information to it.

  1. After my Arduino UNO + Ethernet Shield board not been used for some time, at the first time I turn it on it works. Please see the ping working attached. But after ~5min it just stop working.. Ping error attached.

Issue Solved. Bad Ethernet card. For some reason after some time (less than 5 min) the ethernet card stop working. Just replaced the ethernet card and it is working for the last 2 hours without any error or any ping fail. Tks.
