Hi
Just brought myself my first arduino board which coincided with my washing machine breaking. I now have had a new washing machine delivered. What interesting parts should I salvage off the washing machine.
Cheers

The plug.
I've taken a dishwadher and unfortunetly alot of it isn't too useful
all of the motors and solenoids are 120v ac which is harder to work with( more dangerous tooo
the el3ctronics board didn't offer much, maybe yours will if it was a fancy one
Id see about the knob, that maybe cool to use
Maybe the relays on the board, too
and the plugs are always useful, especially those 30 amp 220v ones XD
Relays, solenoid valves, motor, wiring, etc.. Just depends on what types of projects you like and the amount of junk you can store.
Depending on how electronic it was, it may have a decent size circuit board with resistors, capacitors and stuff of the sort. Given you normally want specific resistances for a specific need, can never have too many of those, and hope you find the right one when you need it.
The microswitch on the door would come in handy.
The timer.
