6v6gt apologies but my understanding is that would only give me a maximum of 8 seconds to get through the void setup? At present it takes the GSM shield around 10-15 seconds to establish connection and so the board may still be in the void setup stage after 8 seconds and so this would leave me with the board resetting before GSM had chance to establish.
Please correct me if I am wrong though? I appreciate what you are saying about using the reset pin but at same time I am not getting a constant reboot as the first thing I do is bring the rest pin high.
I just want my Uno to reboot if it is still in void Setup after say 20 seconds
