Watering system for my gecko

Hey,

I've been working on a watering system for my crested gecko, these geckos need a specific humidity to thrive (Around the 80% mark).

This is why i want to make a watering system, I have already made a system with a 1602 LCD and a DHT11 (i will upgrade to a better one). I also want to make a pump connected to my Arduino, so i can water the terrarium when it needs.

The thing i wonder about is: What pump should i get?

If i look at prebuilt watering systems from well known "gecko brands" like exo terra

I bought one a week ago and opened it up too see the components, but it came out disappointing since the part does not exist. I have attached a photo of the component I found inside. It is a 65,25 PSI 24V-50/60hz 21W Pump. This pump is designed to power multiple terrariums at a time, so this is what i want/need.

Can anyone help me find a similar pump?

  • Suggest an ultra sonic mister.

  • Peristaltic motors are easy to control.

  • Use distilled water :thinking:
