i dont know if i am at the right place to ask this, but i just cannot find anyting in the internet: i am trying to find a sealed thumb joystick similar to this one: Thumb Joystick - COM-09032 - SparkFun Electronics but with at least a littlebit resistance against dust and water.
does anyone have an idea what to use or where to find one?

One gets what one pays for is a commonly used expression.
I once needed an op- amp in the engine bay of the car. The circuit sat on a protoboard and wrapping a plastic bag around it, cealed by a rubber band, it managed a few years before i removed the fuel measuring subsystem.
In Your case the moving of the joystick adds some more difficulty, but not too much I think. Changing a cheap plastic bag now and then might be thinkable? Watch out for sharp corners or edges.
I don't see any reason one should exist in your price range, simply too expensive to make and insure (BIG part of the cost)
Could always try taking one apart, seal it with conformal coating and put it back together.
