Wave Shield/ play6 Problem

I am confused!!!
I have a wave shield. I have read the wave shield manual (PDF).
It tells you to “Download the dapHC.pde sketch and read along!” (pg 64 of PDF); so I did.

Although there are inconsistencies between the program in the PDF and the down loaded Sketch, I ran the sketch and it worked.

P 71 of PDF , if my understanding is correct, I am told to do the same thing;” Download the dapHC.pde sketch and read along! “

However, the differences between the program in the PDF and the down loaded Sketch are almost completely different. Looking at the Arduino Library for the Adafruit Wave Shield, there is no “play6_hc” file to down load.

Is there an updated play6_hc code/ example that I can copy or down load? If not, what can I do?

Ok, after a few hours of sleep, I was able to find something that might work.
I am very rusty when it comes to coding. Some things I understand, and something I don’t!
I would like to give my thanks to all of those who offered some insight to my Question.
