Wave Shield Throat Mic

I've seen a couple of posts regarding people trying to use a throat mic with the Wave Shield voice changer. Unfortunately, I have not seen any posts that show anyone successfully pulling it off. Has anyone had any success in using a throat mic with the Wave Shield. If so, please let me know what is needed.

There shouldn't be any difference between using an electret microphone + preamp and any other microphone + preamp.

As long as you use a decent preamp, and you bias the output of that amp so that the AC voltage of the mic is always between 0V and 5V (i.e. create a 2.5V offset), it should work.
