Hey. I recently assembled my wave shield.
Yet i'm new to soldering, so i think this is my problem.
On the wave shield is there any way i can make sure i soldered everything correctly, like reading the voltage somewhere?
Thanks

Not particularly. You just have to carefully check your work for sloppy soldering, and make sure you're connecting the final wire patches to the correct pins. Here's my board, in case it helps. My headers may or may not look quite like yours-- that's okay.
If you want a closer view, check the larger images.
Thanks for answering quick : )
Im getting this message:
Wave test!
Card init. failed!
I think i soldered the sd card slot badly.
There are about six reasons you can get that message, but the simplest is a missing connection from the Arduino pins to the rest of the circuits. (The four short yellow jumpers in my pics.) The next is having no card in the socket. The next is using some odd variant of SD like SDHC.
Great! i got it working by switching out the SD cards with a new one. : )
