I was browsing for a good ePaper display for a project and I came across a 4.3 inch screen from Waveshare that seems to fit the bill. The demo code looks pretty simple, it's priced reasonably and it has a resolution of 800x600.
As far as I can tell from the documentation, this particular screen has functions to display text, rectangles, circles, etc. When you want to display a bitmap image, it reaches into either the built in NAND or MicroSD slot. However, there seems to be no pinouts like in the standard TFT "MicroSD" screens which will allow an Arduino to read and write into the MicroSD card.
So I was wondering if there would be a way to interact with the MicroSD slot via Arduino, or if there might be a better screen for this purpose?
