Waveshare RP2040-Tiny fails

Oops - I thought I was clear.
My IDE sees no com port, and the Device Mgr sees no com activity other than com1. The USB popup states that the device(s) fail or are unrecognised.
I can force UF2 visibility - but can get no further.
