weather station sensor help!

Hi!

I want to ask one thing!

I have my arduino weather station on breadboard and i want to make a box where i will place this and the display will be outside only.. so but i have the sensors on the breadboard and the question is can i have it there or i need to put them outside the box like the display?? It will show the same temperature and the other things?

It depends on the sensors. My weather station has wind speed and direction and a rain gauge and they definitely won't work inside a box. Temperature can be a problem depending on what the box is made of and where it is positioned e.g. temp sensor inside sealed box with no airflow in full sunlight won't read anything like the real air temperature.

Most sensors will have to be out of the box, in a place where they're exposed to whatever they have to measure. Only exception may be an atmospheric pressure sensor, provided the box is not sealed.
