Web Editor - No "Sketch Data upload" option for ESP8266/ESP32 boards

Importing projects in to the Web Editor does not import the Data folder which is used to hold the SPIFF files. Although I can import the SPIFF files in to a Sketch I cannot create a data folder.

Interesting the imported project will 'Verify' with out error even though the files are missing.

Can assume that either:

  1. SPIFF functionality is not supported by the Web Editor so I can create a Web server on the ESP8266 //ESP32 etc.
  2. There is another way of doing this.

My assumption is that since this is designed to be used as an editor for the Arduino cloud rather local local web servers then this functionality has not been included. I which case I cannot use the web editor for my robot applications which is a shame.
