Website issue

Hi,

Can you PLEASE lay this page out better.......it's very confusing to newbies as to which text is appropriate to which photo. The divider lines are in the wrong place.......always confusing scrolling down the page to read about a board and not sure which photo is which.

It's hard work referring other people to this page to choose a board only for them to come back all confused.

Bad web design.

Ian.

At least under Seamonkey, the clickable images have lines under them which show whether the link has been visited. They are the width of the image. I think that's what he means by "divider lines".

Those lines are there on FF too - I don't find the page confusing - seems pretty obvious to me.

I can't say I counted it as an issue - it happens on a lot of browsers with a lot of different websites - it's more due to the how the website is written (not quite as it should be).

In arduinoWide.css:

a:link {color: #000;text-decoration: none!important;border-bottom: 1px solid #bbb;}

Because the images are links each one gets a line (border-bottom) underneath it. This line then divides the image of the hardware from the description and that makes it a little confusing.

I agree that the lines are in the wrong spot. If you scroll down the page, it appears that the text belongs to the wrong board.

I have not visited all of the links (very few of them in fact) yet I have the lines between every board & text.

I am using Firefox 5 with Windows 7.

It's a website issue but I doubt it will get changed as nothing ever seems to...

I think that this behavior can be changed fairly easily but then this seemingly unalterable fact of life comes into play...
